TRT EHS Workshop
On September 13th, TRT held EHS workshop at our member company Krones Machinery (Taicang) Co., Ltd.
We invited Dr. Long Xuezhu, EHS Consultant of LeapRight Consulting Co., Ltd. He shared the Intrinsic Safety & Implementation. This workshop centered on how to promote intrinsic safety in a corporate environment, discussing the many practices in management and technology.
The highlight was the sharing of case studies, where Dr. Long showcased the successful practices of several companies in different safety areas. For example, some companies have reduced accident rates by implementing automation technologies to reduce direct employee operations in high-risk environments, while others have introduced advanced monitoring systems to detect hazardous substances in the environment and equipment conditions in real-time to ensure that problems can be detected and dealt with at an early stage. These cases vividly demonstrate how intrinsic safety can be realized through technological means and show us its great potential to enhance safety
Participating in this workshop made the participants deeply realize that realizing intrinsic safety requires not only technical support, but also changes in management concepts and the promotion of corporate culture. The real realization of intrinsic safety requires all-round cooperation from organizational structure, and technical input to cultural construction.
