Today, They Graduated
Today(June 22), the graduation ceremony of the 1st Taicang Sino-German CEO Class was held at Taicang Technovation Valley - Science and Technology Innovation Park. Mr. Xu Huadong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Taicang, Ms. Wang Xinrong, Vice Dean of Lifelong Education College of SJTU, and Mr. Richard Zhang, Chairman of Taicang Roundtable, attended the graduation ceremony.
In his speech, Mr. Xu Huadong emphasized that the establishment of the CEO Class is a significant step in Taicang‘s collaboration with Germany. It is an innovative approach to training top management personnel from Chinese and German enterprises, meeting the actual needs of businesses. This initiative also provides a new platform for fostering exchange and cooperation between Chinese and German enterprises to promote their integrated development. Mr. Xu Huadong also stressed the importance of applying the knowledge gained from the program to enhance enterprise development and to continuously improve product competitiveness and market share. He expressed his hope for deeper mutual understanding and cooperation between Chinese and German entrepreneurs.
Ms. Wang Xinrong highlighted that the CEO Class provides participants with valuable learning experiences and opportunities for cooperation and exchange, focusing on industrial development trends and business model innovation. In the future, the Lifelong Education College of SJTU will continue to collaborate with all parties in Taicang to support the region's high-quality economic and social development.
At the event, a review film of the first session of the Taicang Sino-German CEO Class was presented, and the second session of the course was promoted. Outstanding students were recognized, and certificates of completion and prize-winning theses were awarded.
