Taicang Sino-German CEO Class Opening Ceremony, Promoting the Integration of Sino-German Enterprises
The first Taicang Sino-German CEO Class was organized by Taicang Industry and Information Technology Bureau and Taicang Federation of Industry and Commerce, and hosted by Taicang Roundtable (TRT) and Lifelong Learning Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
On 25th November, the Taicang Sino-German CEO Class started in Taicang Enterprise Service Center to further enhance the management ability and level of senior managers of Sino-German enterprises, realize the mutual empowerment of international advanced management and operation concepts and Chinese characteristics, and further promote the integration and development of Sino-German enterprises. Mr. Xu Huadong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Taicang, Mr. Richard Zhang, Chairman of Taicang Roundtable(TRT), and Mr. Chen Shijie, Director of Center for Rural Revitalization and Collaborative Innovation between Government and Enterprises of Shanghai Jiaotong University, attended the opening ceremony.
Mr. Xu Huadong pointed out in his speech that Taicang has nearly 500 German enterprises, and more than 600 local enterprises have realized in-depth cooperation with German enterprises in industrial support, intelligent manufacturing, etc. The Sino-German CEO Class can be said to be born out of necessity and has a profound foundation. At present, Taicang is in an important opportunity period of rapid development, the city's enterprises should further promote entrepreneurial spirit, dare to do and be able to do, and constantly improve the ability of green development, innovation, and development, to achieve the same frequency resonance of enterprise growth and local development. We hope that the participants will fully grasp the learning opportunities, comprehensive and in-depth communication, and exchange on innovation and entrepreneurship, learn from each other, learn from each other's strengths, give full play to the empowering role of the workshop platform, promote the enhancement of the level of self-management, and generate more opportunities for cooperation, and further expand the Sino-German entrepreneurs "Circle of Friends" and "Circle of Cooperation".
On the scene, Mr. Richard Zhang introduced the overall program of the Sino-German CEO Class, Ms. Wang Xinrong, Vice President of Lifelong Education Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University, expressed his congratulations on the opening of the course in a video message, and Mr. Qian Yun, General Manager of Zollner.
This is the first Sino-German CEO Class organized by the Taicang City, which is not only a new exploration of the cultivation mode of senior management talents of Sino-German enterprises but also creates a new platform for the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and German enterprises and their integration and development. Participants of the workshop, both from German enterprises and local private enterprise representatives, are the backbone of the city's development. The workshop invites Shanghai Jiao Tong University for theoretical guidance and invites German enterprise elites to share management experience, the whole learning process is divided into six modules, including Strategic Construction and Industrial Inno-
vation, Organizational Structure and Talent Development, etc., and will arrange for the participants to go to Germany to take part in the activities of economic and trade cooperation with Germany, to further understand the customs and business environment of Germany.
