On October 20th, TRT held the Q4 customs Workshop at Brand Kern-Liebers Precision Parts (Taicang) Co.

The workshop invited Ms. Zhang Ting, Deputy Chief of Taicang Customs Bureau, to enthusiastically share with us the latest proactive disclosure policy interpretation of the General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 127 of 2023 and share some customs inspection cases. She elaborated on the policy's connotation and scope of application and emphasized how enterprises should proactively disclose relevant information to avoid risks. At the same time, she also gave us a deeper understanding of the significance and importance of this policy through vivid case studies.

Next, Ms. Wang Qinqin, a customs consultant expert from Shuangjie Information Technology Co., Ltd, shared with us the theme of processing trade compliance, from the whole-process management thinking of processing trade filing, underwriting and verification, as well as the two aspects of processing trade compliance management.

Ms. Nie Qing, Partner of PwC International Trade Services, shared with us the recent customs hotspots: customs valuation, opportunities and challenges of RCEP, Hainan Free Trade Port and so on. These contents are closely related to enterprises' import and export declaration, which can avoid customs risks and enable enterprises to enjoy tax incentives in international trade, which is a win-win initiative for enterprises and the government. Participants they actively participate in exchanges, learning and sharing experiences with each other. The atmosphere of the whole seminar was active and fruitful.
