TRT April GM Meeting
On 13 April, TRT held GM Meeting at Taicang Enterprises Service Centre.
First, we invited Ms. Huang Tianqi, Deputy Section Chief of Taicang DRC, to introduce Taicang Logistics ＆ Trade, Headquarters Economy Policies. At the beginning of 2023, Taicang issued the policy on the Development of Modern Logistics and Trade Industry Innovation Cluster (For Trial Implementation), which includes 18 measures to support the development of logistics and trade enterprises. In 2021, Taicang issued its Headquarters Economy policy, which supports headquarters enterprises settling in Taicang. Headquarters enterprises that meet certain requirements can enjoy incentives for settling down, paid-in capital, and local economic contribution.
Google once opened the Aristotle Project, a program designed to study team effectiveness, and this research project revealed that psychological safety is by far the most important key success factor in high-performing teams! In this session, we invited Mr. Tilman Rieger, the Founder ＆ CEO of 8C Consulting, to share with the audience about psychological safety: why it is important and how to build it at the workplace.
Next, we invited Ms. Wang Yunqiu, Section Chief of Taicang Market Supervision & Administration Bureau, to introduce everyone to Government Quality Award Policy. The quality award not only has the value of guidance, incentive and sharing to the society, but also has the value of innovation and enhancing corporate image for enterprises, and for employees can also promote career development and improve the value of employee rights and interests.
We also invited Mr. Steven Hu, the EVP of Asia Pacific of OECHSLER Plastic Products (Taicang) Co., Ltd., who achieved the Quality Award, to share with us his company's The Way of Quality Award - Pursue Excellence. The combination of ingenuity and innovation is the way to build evergreen industry of OECHSLER.
This time, the TRT Board Election Result 2023 was also announced. Based on the votes of more than half of the TRT member companies, the four who received the most votes, namely Mr. Richard Zhang from Becker Consulting, Ms. Jesicar Shen from OASE, Mr. Wilhelm Anton Riester from Chiron, Ms. Marieke Bossek for German Centre and Mr. Yang Gang from TRUMPF, will be the new board members. The term of office will be 2 years. After a late meeting of the board members, Mr. Richard Zhang became the new TRT chairman.
