TRT March GM Meeting
On 9th March, TRT held March GM Meeting at Chiron Machine Tools (Taicang) Company.
First of all, Mr. Wilhelm Anton Riester talked to the attendees about Chiron Group’s expertise, technology, and equipment capabilities in many industries. As well as Chiron Group’s plans for sustainable development in the future.
In the next, Mr. Shen Chenfeng, GM of GBK CHINA, to share with the attendees the LKSG in Germany. The German Supply Chain Law lists the human rights and environmental standards that enterprises should comply with, For example, the use of child labor and forced labor is prohibited, the minimum standards of occupational/industrial safety are observed, and the minimum wage in line with local standards is paid.
Then, Dr. Andreas Szesny & Ms. Daniela Essenpreis who are Green Lighthouse Alliance, shared the Long March towards Sustainability: Challenges, Opportunities and Solutions for Companies in Taicang. Mr. Liu Kaicheng, vice director of Ti Certification(Shanghai) Co., Ltd., shared with everyone the Low-carbon Transformation and Development of Enterprises.
We invited Dr. Jiang Yibo, who is a researcher/senior engineer of State Grid（Suzhou）City & Energy Research Institute, to introduce the Path Analysis & Project Proposals for Energy Saving & Carbon Reduction in Industrial Enterprises with attendees. Low-carbon development and transformation has been a major national strategy in China, and carbon-neutral implementation needs decarbonization, energy efficiency, digitalization and marketization. Dr. Zhao also shared with the participants the current key projects of carbon emission reduction and also hoped that enterprises would start to establish carbon management systems.
After the meeting, the participants visited Chiron’s factory.
